Michael Dening

Principal

Michael Dening ThumbnailMichael Dening has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate development, construction, and ownership.

Michael began his real estate career in 1965 working with commercial contractors, including Turner Construction, as a construction engineer on projects in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Spain. From 1972 to 1979, he worked with two real estate development companies, one in the United Kingdom and the other in the United States, both involved primarily in the development of warehouse and distribution facilities.

In 1979, Michael formed the predecessor of Devon USA for acquisition, development, and renovation of commercial office buildings, warehouses, and retail centers. Michael received a degree in Civil Engineering from Bristol University (UK) in 1962, and a Masters in Financial Management from the London School of Economics in 1972. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania.

Edward D. Mitchell

Managing Director

Edward Mitchell, Devon USAEd started his career in the real estate and finance industries in 1985. Over the course of his career, Ed has been involved in virtually all aspects of the real estate development, construction, and investment process.

Ed joined Devon USA in 2001.  Prior to joining Devon, Ed was a Senior Vice President with Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Division where he provided financial solutions for a diverse client base that included local and national real estate companies, REITs, and opportunity funds.

Ed received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Duke University in 1985, with a double-major in Mechanical Engineering and Economics.
